FUNQCD: from first principles to effective theories
FUNQCD: from first principles to effective theories

Overview

The aim of this workshop is to bring together leading international experts and young researchers to discuss properties of QCD, from first principles such as functional methods and lattice simulations to effective theories. Topics to be addressed include the strongly correlated infrared structure of QCD, such as confinement and mass generation, the phase structure of gauge theories at nonzero temperature and density.

Since this workshop is online, we are organizing it so that there can be maximal participation for both Asia, Europe, and the United States. The times of the workshop will be 1-6 pm, Central European Daylight time. To have the greatest number of talks, all talks will be 15 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for discussion. This is to allow the chance for both senior and especially junior researchers to present their work to the community.

  • Registration and abstract submission are now closed.
  • Deadline for registration and abstract submission: March 15, 2021.
  • Venue: The conference will be virtual. All talks will be available through Zoom.
